Promoting the FA Cup Game

Just downloaded a poster - cheers for that!

But should the club not be promoting the game up the high Street - like in the good old days!?!

Now that there isn't a coach going to Bognor - and actually I still don't understand that one! - members could get together a stall, print some flyers and get the general public down to New Lodge. OK maybe that is short notice but it HAS to happen the morning of the game. Too good an opportunity to miss in my humble opinion.

Posters are a great way, but having an actual presence in the high street is far greater. You need to get out and actually talk to people not just assume poeple are going to come to you. You need to get involved!!!

Some come on guys - lets attack the High Street on the morning of the game and just show the people of Billericay that we mean business!!!

Can anyone on the BTSA committee organise it??? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/excited.gif" alt="" />

Well Bright Blue we have just had a meeting tonight to plan for this game.

The BTSA will be present in the High Street on the morning of Saturday 13th November promoting this game and selling merchandise.

We also plan to promote this game outside the Railway Station on Thursday 11th November between 17.30 and 19.00.

All help to promote this game and help at the ground on the day would be very much appreciated so please contact the BTSA by calling either Gary Clark on 07731331737 or Andy Turner on 07889 516922.

Thanks in advance.

Andy Turner

BTSA Chairman

Here's a leaflet about a game against another crappy non-leauge team BTW do you want to buy a t-shirt?
I'm presuming you've got a trading licence for this, very serious offence selling stuff on the street out of suitcases.

Part 1 completed on Promoting Saturdays game.

A big thanks to Gazza and myself for the time spent last night at the Railway Station handing out flyers promoting this game.

Why are people in Billericay so reluctant to take a flyer you thought you were asking for money from them.

Gazza and I both said would be a different story if/when we reached the 3rd round and entertain a Premiership side.

On Saturday we will be in the High St between 9.30 and 12.00 if you can help promote your club see you outside Peter Murray opposite the Red Lion.

Thanks again in advance
