Have you seen page 43 of the NLP today? That Enfield boss Dave McDonald is a little tinker. Stirring things up just nicely for next Sunday. If a few of you copped the hump for a few handbags yesterday, I suggest you wear body armour next Sunday...I might even come along and observe!

MacDonald is a well known hothead along with most of the rest of EFC's team. We should know, 2 or 3 of them have been kicked out of Towns team beause of lack of discipline.

 

Lets just say that if/when Town get the upper hand in the game. watch the handbags start to fly from their players and from their bench. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/boxing.gif" alt="" />

 

I will feel strange to the Town players. Normally they are playing teams younger than themselves,whereas EFC's team will be filled with a load of 30 something's. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/cheeburga.gif" alt="" />

 

The only saving grace is that it won't be officiated by an Essex ref. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bounce.gif" alt="" />

I think Dave's trying to take the pressure off his own players. Don't think there's much on the Town side, promotion remains the priority for the club. Not sure that's an option for EFC-the 10 year rule and all that.

 

I think we'll see a much more open game next week. The benefits of a younger & fitter squad may shade it.
