Half Time Oranges

So we've played 50% out of our league games... 21/42... that's a half in old money for the greybeards.

 

And it's been pretty damn good. And I should know because I've spent a large chunk of the evening writing "season so far" type articles for prog and gazette (reckon my total wordage for prog and paper and website is pushing 2500 tonight... I should charge by the word <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> )

 

5 Highlights in no particular order...

 

1) FA Cup run. 4 wins without conceding a goal, then outplaying Stevenage for long periods before going out to a lucky goal

 

2) Trophy run. Beating Yeading and Bognor on their own turf. Bring on Exeter....

 

3) FA Youth Cup Run. The kids are alright. See also: EJA League positions....

 

4) Top young players. Macca, Rossy, Cuz, Nathan, Game the list goes on. All 23 or younger and all improving as fast as you like. And let's face it even the likes of Dorms, Hunter, Hockers etc aren't exactly old are they?

 

5) League position. Watch out Yeading, we're right behind you...... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/top.gif" alt="" />

 

5a) Clubhouse improvements.... When it's finished I reckon it'll be the best bar in the league...
