Rent a crowd!

Hilarious! Take a look at the Abbey website where the webmaster has placed a picture of the half stand behind the goal full of supporters. On closer inspection the crowd are in fact Town supporters and the proof is Dingle Dangle David's St George flag. Is there a bigger piccie Mr Webmaster?

Coup, was your'e game against stanstead on a saturday.?Ours was midweek, with lots of games either side of it,plus there was football on the telly. So Stanstead was the game that most of us decided to miss.Just out of interest, how many other clubs have you got bigger attendances against, than the Town.???.

a) midweek in the League cup no less

B) what do you mean loads of games either side, you would hardly be playing three games a week that early in the season, even with the ESL's stranger than science scheduling, so your fixture list at that time was no different to anybody else.

c) football on the telly eh? That obviously shows were your supporters' loyalties lay

d) so you all together on the Saturday before, and came up with: "Hey lads there is football on the TV in the week, let's miss the Stansted - no A - match and stay in.

e) I am sure you know the answer to the attendance question without having to ask. Remember we were the big fish in this pond a few years back.

f) Christmas is over, so the gloves are back on!

Reel 'em in...fresh fish, fresh fish!

Well I like Stansted and as a frequent flyer with Ryanair I know one of their fans from the airport.

Midweek travel means that at the moment I miss midweek games. You want a fair chance at a good gate make it a Saturday and hope EFC are not at home because like it or not they will now affect our away gate. ETFC fans have a choice to travel (and be insulted) or to travel to Ware (and be insulted)!

Picture was not nicked but sent on if they wanted to use it along with a few others, we should all help each other as no one outside will lift a finger.

Its all very well supporting your club but it is pointless if they have no one to play.

As you didn't answer my main question..Ie.'Apart from Stanstead, how many times have Romford recorded a higher attendence than ETFC at anyone else's ground.?'.I presume the answer to that is .NONE .... As Romford is a lot closer to nearly every away ground in the league, than are Enfield Town.Thats not much to baost about,is it.

Yep... thanks for the piccie.

I took one from the other side of the ground but preferred your full frontal.

For the record, it includes fans from both sides (including abbeynut, myself and my daughter)
