Andy's Replacement

Guest

Recommended Posts

First of all thanks to Andy for being the most successful manager the club has ever had and good luck to him for whatever he chooses to do in the future.

Possible options for a new manager:-

1. Chris Kinnear - the git will probably have their last rites read to them by Thanet Council tomorrow, so apart from being ideal for the job he may well be available

2. Andy Hessenthaler (sorry about the spelling) - if he could convince scallywag to pay up his contract he would make a fantastic player manager, he must have a couplke of years left in him at conf standard

But please not Gary Hill, l think he should stick to north of the river

Hessie , player manager , reckon it will be a great choice as he needs to 'cut his teeth' at a lower level. Good footballing brain to cope with conference footie . Yeah agree not 2 sure about the Gills connection though.

Could be a good move for him seeing as his son goes to the Grammar. He can save that vital petrol money.

Who are you on about? Hessenthaler? If you are, I can actually tell you that I know for a fact that his daughter goes to the girls grammar, and his son is still in year six at a quiet little village school, in the same class as my sister.

Lee Hessenthaler goes to (or maybe he's left. He's 17/18) the Grammar.

Ok, if he's not related to him then he looks incredibly similar to Andy and has the same surname.

When I was younger, my friend played football for Riverview United and would mention Lee (as he was his team-mate) and said how he was Andy's son.

Well there you go. It would save them on petrol though, going back to your earlier point, as they live closer to Gravesend than they do to Gillingham.

Combining Andy Hessenthaler as player and manager (manager first, part time player second) would be good for the club as a whole I think. Also, we may have the inside track on the Scallywag and how far plans have got if hessy comes to us. A winner all the way methinks.
