How many goign up north and how are you all getting there.

 

National Express dont appear to have a service unless you leave Friday evening and come back Sunday

 

Trains are expensive and a bit tight on times ot change

 

SO it looks like the good old car.

Judging by recent Fleet attendances, it will probably be the smallest contingent of away supporters to visit Carlisle this season, unless the fairweather people turn out again.

Anyone know for definite whether the game will take place at Carlisle or will it be switched?

There are a dozen or so flying up.

It will be a die hards only turn out but then most games outside of a one hour drive usually are.

Fear not with the above scoreline, its Barnet reserve side with the exception of a couple of players and Carlsile's first eleven, with the exception of Preece of course!

Final score was 4-1 to Carlisle United. I was wrong too, it was United's reserves. Attendance 1575, not too bad for a reserve side fixture particularly when you consider they were playing their home game 65 miles from home. Its more than Morecambe generlly get at home too.

It's a seriously long drive - I regularly do Penrith via A1M A1 A66 M6 in 6 hours. M1 M6 will take 5-6 hours depending on traffic.
