will there be any action taken against craig dobson, the lewes number 7 for getting a fellow professional booked?

 

had a bit of a tussle with OneAndyTomlinson, then threw himself onto the floor screaming and clutching his leg. he waited until andy got booked and the physio had run over before bravely getting straight up and jogging away as though nothing had happened. all this was right in front of the eastside, and we let him know how we felt.

 

the annoying little toe rag then winks at us, to acknowledge that he had cheated and we knew it!!

He did the same thing in the first half and got young Dear booked on the riverside, and yes we also spotted what he did to Andy, what a winker !!!!

i think we should shoot him in the leg, then book him for feigning injury, all the time winking like a nutcase with a twitch.

fair enough don, but it doesnt mean that we have to like it.

diving to try and win a penalty is one thing, but pretending to be injured just to get a fellow professional booked and then winding up the home fans about it just makes you look like scum in my books.

even when harvey was telling us to "hoover my ass" and doing the [censored] hand gestures and telling us to [censored] off, i still took that as part and parcel of the game.

if dobson was at a higher level of football, he could be done for inciting the crowd - if it was at old twatford or the library, the fans would have probably invaded the pitch.

we just took it and naively thought the lino might have done something.

i take your point but just feel it makes him look an even bigger winker if he cheats and still can't win. history will remember 3-2 to urchins, not some mug punter getting people booked.

spoke to sean dear on the way home after the game and he said he never touched dobson.... and to the winkers defence he said to the ref that sean never touched him...but the ref said it was "reckless"

very good player, pacey and more than a one trick pony.

shame about the sneakier side of his game, the fact he spoke up in the first half may well have influenced the ref in the 2nd.

Not that i want to get drawn into this but feel as i know his grandad i have no choice.... I dont want to take sides in this matter but some of the things he done on sat were bang out of order. I did introduce myself to him after the game and had a laugh about the stick that we gave him, which to his credit he took very well.... I`m going to have to be carefull how i word this....From what i can understand he is influenced to go down easier than what we would expect most players to do(not by his family i may add)....In my opinion after meeting and speaking to him he seems like a nice lad...
