Cup tied

If a player is "cup tied" after playing for a previous club and that club had won through that round,surely that player should not be penalised for just moving clubs.It's another matter if they had lost,though I'm not sure of the situation regarding Bunce and Pullin.

It disadvantages us having Pullen and Bunce cup tied, but Manny has been in this situation before.

 

At West Ham, League cup game against Aston Villa, Semi final. West ham used Manny as a sub, and not realising he was cup tied, forced themselves to play a replayed game, which then they evidently lost.
