I take it you have not got Sky Digital then! If you have you may find Meridian on channel 963 or 369 (I think). At least down here in Maidstone channel 103 is Meridian and channel 963 or 369 is London ITV. Not looked for ages hence I am not sure about the channel but I know it involves "9", "6", and "3"!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I am still waiting for someone to explain to me how come Charlton are in the Meridain area? Here's me thinking they were a London team! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Same here, i scrolled through the whole tv guide, found a few intresting channels <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/alk.gif" alt="" /> but no meridian!!

ITV on Sky Digital

 

Your viewing card's local ITV1 will be on channel 103 but you can receive ITV from any region if you have a Sky viewing card.

 

On you Sky remote go to Services, "4 Add programs" and set the following. Key in the frequency. To move to the next category use the up and down arrows. Now use the left and right arrows to make changes. Do not forget to save changes by pressing Select before exiting. Follow the on screen prompts.

 

The three ITV transponders are:

 

10.891 H, 22000, 5/6

Anglia

Border England

Border Scotland

Meridian South

Meridian East

Tyne Tees

Yorkshire

ITV1 Border Region

 

10.832 H, 22000, 5/6

Carlton/LWT

Central West

HTV Wales

HTV West

Westcountry

ITV1 Region Wales

 

10.906 V, 22000, 5/6

Channel

Grampian

Scottish

Ulster

ITV2

Granada

ITV3

ITV1 London

 

To view the stations use Services then "6 Other Stations" and use the up and down arrows to select the station you require. Press Select to view. All the stations are in widescreen.

Just for the record - BBC variations;

 

10.788 V, SR 22000 FEC 5/6,

BBC ONE BM = Birmingham / West Midlands

BBC ONE HL = Hull / North East Hull / East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire

BBC ONE LS = Leeds / North East

BBC ONE MR = Manchester / North West

BBC ONE NC = Norwich / East Anglia

BBC ONE NO = Nottingham / East Midlands

 

10.818 V, SR 22000 FEC 5/6.

BBC ONE BS = Bristol / South West

BBC ONE NT = Newcastle upon Tyne

BBC ONE OX = Oxford / Oxford is South

BBC ONE PY = Plymouth / South West

BBC ONE SO = Southampton / South

BBC ONE TW = Tunbridge Wells / South East

In some cases 10.788 may need to be changed to 10.787 and 10.818 may be changed to 10.817.

 

10.847 V, SR 22000 FEC 5/6.Transponder 50

BBC ONE = East (West)

BBC ONE CI = Channel Islands is also available on EPG 958

I only got sky plus yesterday, I got it in my bedroom. We have it on the TV in the living room and my mum and dad have telewest in their bedroom. So I could have already received it.

Anyway my poit is that when I go to services it's "8 other stations." People that have only just got sky may not know this. Cheers

The best thing about Sky was the rude channel previews at 10pm. Not quite hard core - but CORRR!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />
