time delays by council

bbc kent sport say we will have to wait untill the begining of next week for a decsion. heres their words:

 

Margate fans will have to wait until early next week before knowing once and for all whether their ground project has a future. Thanet Council have been pondering a document from the club for two weeks now surrounding their application to build on Hartsdown Park. Margate say their place in the league is under threat if they can't start work within the next fortnight.

Yes John, the council must have contacted the club about this before airing their decision today to everyone out in the wide wide world.

It's amazing isn't it how the Council can put bad spin out about submissions from the Club, and yet can delay and procrastinate to their hearts content and not think that there's anything wrong with that.

The Council's shenanigans could I suppose be classed as performance art (or is it bad-performance art?) and perhaps they could hold a little live exhibition in the gallery when it opens, preferably when we get a nice strong easterly gale.

M F C officials were seen in northdown rd at 2-30 today as if they were at or comming from a meeting as they were dressed in the usual geer that they turn up at games in
