Mighty Mole is correct it doesn't say anywhere that you have to go down in any order it, seems to me that people are randomly picking events out of the air and placing them on here. You should always explain whats going on before you start a game like this, as you can see things clearly get out of hand.

 

And Mighty Mole can I suggest you start off again from 1990, I have a really good one for 1989.
