To all the romford fans who think that because you have been supporting your club for years...your support is better than ours....

 

i would like to add that knowing not the real steve west along with bridge ..emh ..dangler..and lots of other urchin fans i can say there support for our club is as strong and loyal as any other club in this land....yes maybe they havent been around since world war 2 but in 20 years or more these guys will still be there.....

Just checked the LBH website for planning application fees - click here! and it's as clear as mud to me. But it seems that we can submit an application to drill for oil at a cost of £265 per 0.1 hectare (how big is 0.1 of a hectare in English?) so maybe we'll strike it lucky and that grand will be money well spent!

Christ, you lot are hard work.

 

The plans would have been drawn up by architects who then sent us their bill (are you following?). They were then presented to Havering Council when our application was made and we would have paid the appropriate fee. Hence the big fundraising push, as we were still short as we approached our deadline date.

 

But isn't this just stating the bleeding obvious?

Thanks for your considered and valued opinion, Westie! Your comments, such as "I do hope you've not been leading your own supporters up the garden path" and "Are you boys up to something underhanded??" show a touching concern for the well being of Boro supporters and the use to which their hard earned cash is being put once they've donated it to Romford FC!

 

As you have "done your years at the LBH planning office" you obviously have some experience of planning applications, which I confess that I do not. I would expect that, at some stage during the process, the plans will become accessible to members of the public. Perhaps you'd like to take a look when that happens - it may confirm your suspicions of "something underhanded" or perhaps even convince you that it's not a "farce". Either way, your interest in the affairs of Romford FC are much appreciated!

Westie, you're right - you've been winding everyone up all along and we've all fallen for it.

 

We should have seen it, really - the signs were all there. All that interest in Romford, where the money came from, where and how it was spent, were the plans done properly - so much concern, there could only be one answer.....

 

Westie, you're a Boro fan! Come on, admit it - you're gold and blue, through and through! Bet it was you that paid the last grand, too!
