Jon Case - Injury Update

Having spoken to the club sports therapist after the game it is still not known the full extent of Jon's injury.

 

Initial thoughts were that is was as serious as a cruciate ligament injury which could have seen him miss the remainder of the season.

 

Jon was taken to hospital were he was told that they would not know the full problem until he re-visited them next weekend.

 

He was also told that a good sign is that he knee had not swollen as much as they would expect with a cruciate injury and it is now thought that he has suffered a lateral colateral ligament injury and will possibly be out for a couple of months.

 

On behalf of the supporters I would like to wish Jon a speedy recovery.
