No need to obsess about last minute signings as I see it.

 

Yes, we're 1 striker short of a full squad, but better to get a decent player on loan later than get someone in desperation now. Manny came to us on extended loan in the first place.

 

Holding onto McShane has to be a higher priority than a last minute forward, I'd have thought. Also, re something Wobbly Wayne said in another thread, the fact we didn't try & outbid Crawley for Daryl Clare shows that we're not taking speculation in the hope of accumulation to levels we can't afford.

Don't forget our attacking midfield players, Bowry and Jay, they can easily tuck away the valuable goals as proved last season and last weekend..!

 

The formula we have is enough to go on, and I am happy that we have just enough talent to rack up a good goal tally this season..!

To add:

 

Bringing in another player/striker could cause disruption to a squad that is starting to gel (nicely) so leave it as is and save some dough, on paper we are a stronger outfit, so hopefully we can steal some valuable wins and head on up the table...!!!!!
