Car Crash

I'm a AFC Wimbledon supporter who lives just a few miles from Billericay. On my way back from the game this afternoon, I passed what looked like a nasty car crash, some of those injured seemed to be Billericay fans.

I thought I'd post a message to say I hope none of your supporters were seriously injured, and look forward to us all coming to New Lodge later in the season.

Thanks for your concern. I understand that the people involved were taken to hospital but there were no serious injuries.

Were there two accidents? On the Ryman forum they are talking about an accident outside of Kingston and you mention near Billericay.

Whoever it was I hope they are OK. Wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

Lets just inform people that there was an accident involving Billericay supporters but after a long wait in A & E, they have all been passed fit and sent home with bruises, grazes and cuts.

 

Today they will feel like they've been hit by a run a way truck but they are safe at home with their families.

It was on the A2043 between the roundabout and the A3 about a mile from Kingsmeadow. Like many other supporters Sam and I drove past and were shocked to see Ricay shirts at the scene, but were unable to stop and assist as the police were sensibly trying to keep everyone moving along. Glad to hear that everyone made it home safely in the end, as we were very concerned seeing good friends of ours in the thick of it and texts obviously not being able to be returned from hospital.
