well...according to claret everywhere.

 

He claims our budget WILL be slashed when CCFC leave. Fact.

 

Is this the end for ricay? where we will go on a Saturday, Braintree, Canvey, Chelmsford?

How about a newly formed AFC Ricay or Ricay Rockets.

 

Should we start a please stay at Ricay petition. Oh the worry of it all.

I think it IS time to worry when the Chairman of Billericay Town feels it necessary to post a comment about an anonymous piece of garbage written by someone on the Ryman board. Why on earth give it the fresh-air of publicity if it's not true? Unless, of course, there IS something in what Claret Everywhere says. Please explain, TC, why you bothered commenting on it. Surely better to just ignore it? A man in your position should surely rise above that kind of comment and treat it for what it is, yes?

By the way, I'm sure we CAN accomodate you at Melbourne. As long as, of course, you're willing to put up with comments of "You're just a bunch of squatters" if you ever play us (because we will ignore the fact that you pay us rent). And if you ever decide to help us out by paying your rent for a season in advance instead of the usual monthly instalments, please don't be offended if our supporters show absolutely no gratitude for the fact.

 

Also you will have to use the away dressing-room if you're playing us and the game is actually your HOME match. Oh, and we'll throw in the fact that youre not allowed to use the treatment room whenever we play each other either.

 

You wont be able to use any of our office space on your home match days because our manager will need it even though he's one hundred miles away at the time at our own away game.

 

That'll do for starters. I'm sure we'll get along famously

Only SOME of you. Most of your fans are a lovely bnch. I particularly like the one who shouted from your end on Tuesday night, "Come on then" and beckoned to the City fans for a fight. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/boxing.gif" alt="" />

 

I haven't witnessed that since the bad old hooly days of the eighties. Muppet - it was clear the rest of you thought so as well from the embarrassed silence that followed his outburst (except from our end, where we were peeing ourselves laughing).
