A damn fine performance by the lads over the full 90 minutes. They worked hard, passed well, and didn't give Slough a chance. I would even go as far to say, one of our best performances this season.

I can't pick any player of the match because every one of our lads played up to their potential.

A great start to Matty's reign as manager.

What match were you guys watching - two lucky breaks after being pushed back into your own half for 90 odd minutes

No in all seriousness we played Hampton last week and they were not a patch on you guys. Keep playing like this and you will be in with a chance of promotion.

All the best (unless we meet you in the Westview!)

Ahhhh, an oppo supporter with a sense of humour...does it come in tablet form and will it work on supporters who have just moved to Melbourne Park and are so far "up themselves" that even their mothers can't see 'em...?

Blimey Gazza, a week almost gone and you've STILL got some of those bloody grapes left!

Good way to end a testing week - the players seemed to be a lot more relaxed than in recent games and we didn't look like making silly mistakes... Thought Leon and Wozza looked like a good partnership in the middle of the park, the first chance they've had to start together. 2 well worked goals, and we looked solid at the back so plenty to be positive about. The thing we've failed to do this season is put together a run of 3 or 4 wins on the bounce - hopefully we can now get a run going.

only one man of the match for me, Matt Game. Was superb throughout the game. No disrespect to Slough but this was an easy win. It was the first time in ages when it looked like the lads still had something left in the tank at the end of the game. We put together some good moves but if i had a negative its that we still need to creating more clear cut chances.

Great start for Matty, lets hope this is the start of the run we have all been hoping for.

Noticed in the Sunday Mirror there was a piece about Justin's Fisher appointment. It would seem he and the Fisher Chairman have known each other for years.

My sentiments exactly. Think you hit that on the head Simon. I too thought the players were a lot more relaxed. I know it is early days, and yes perhaps there were some points to be proved out there, but i have to say this....IMHO It was the best ALL ROUND performance of the season, and was a breath of fresh air. So, well done to Matt and the lads IT WAS GOOD! Keep playing like that and you will get yerselves a good name

Can anyone explain to me how Matt "smurf on springs" Game manages to give away so many fouls in the air? i think i counted 3 on saturday and everyone looked perfectly legal arms by side just pure out jumping the opposing player. i cant understand it. i agree with keith definatly the best all round performance ive seen all year!
