top of the league and I'm back ooppp norff....well the first 15 minutes made the morning journey south well worthwhile as we went three up (holland 2 burbridge 1) and looked like running up a cricket score....but fair play to hullbridge who battled bravely back into the match in the second half and scored a nice goal that they had been threatening....and some decent players in the hullbridge team (cheeseburger is a player with loads of potential in my opinion..a real fckn nuisance all day....again....) <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

billybobbs finished it off and gained his hat trick after hullbridge had pegged one back....so

 

a job well done by the urchin squad today and a great debut from young craig dennis...a second MOM from young gareth much deserved and a billybobs hat trick was also well grafted for....

 

however....healsy's white boots have gotta go in the same bin as my white moon boots.... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

but three points is three points....

in the meantime some real tough games coming up and a lot to play for on some dodgy pitches so we'll keep the champers on ice for a while and concentrate on another 3 points and another great turnout (350ish) from the urchin faithful at a very cold and very damp stadium....

Must say Hullbridge were not great, but deserve plenty of credit for not laying down and letting it be a cricket score....

 

Very young team. One or two making their debuts in front of a big crowd and at a proper stadium. The words rabbits and headlights spring to mind, but give them plenty of credit for having a go and scored a well deserved goal. Well I thought so!!!

i am round my ex business partners,rich,geezers a complete nutter,we went back to mine and i have been thrown out of my house,not sure if its or good but i am starting to realise why our business went downhill

Well it certainly feels like that after 15 minutes, but of course a case of taking our foot off the pedal so to speak and indeed we had to graft after that and full credit to Hullbridge for making a game of it.

Great support once again and the MOM GT was thoroughly deserved, it could have gone to several, particularly Billybobs, but of course there is only one can get it ad Gareth broke up attack after attack with his distribution first class.

I certainly wouldn't like to pick the team cos leaving people on the bench is a hard call but as I keep saying every member of the squad plays his part and with some hard games coming up that will be the case.

Well done Urchins and a special word of praise for Sally and the girls, another long day with a bash in the evening as well.

uncle urchin are you sure! my first touch was terrible in the second half.

 

i enjoyed although had to come of with knock just hoping be fit for saturday.

 

basically we cant start like that we wont compete against anyone.

 

ive been told the first goal was offside but that happens it football you get some you lose some.

 

you obviously deserved the win by maybe more but we did battle well i thought to contain it.

 

saturday i think we had no players over 23 which i suppose bolds well for the future and 3 16's so watch this space 2010 is our year <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
