Well of course, you were playing the Swifts and it isn't out fav ground for officials but it amused me that the amount of grapes that were being passed around we're indeed sour...

May be a "dodgy vintage", but it appears there has been a glut of sour grapes saturating the markets in Essex since the turn of the year, but thought they'd all been used up on 2nd January.

As far as the correlation between Scraley Road and "dodgy" officials is concerned, I think it must be coincidence, because, after all, they don't come from the village do they?

I think we must consider the fact that both Ricay and Chelmo supporters COULD be telling porkies about the quality of the officials at Scraley Road, merely because we can't bear to own up to the fact that we were beaten (or in Ricay's case - held to a draw) by a better team.
