Vs Walton & Hersham

A Big Game for the boys This saturday, A Win will put us above Walton, and move us even closer to those playoff Places.

 

The 2 previous weeks in my opinion have been superb, Weve created more chances, looked so solid at the back, and have constantly tried to play football.

 

I think we can win this against tough opposistion also chasing a play off place. ill go for a 3rd succesive 2 - 0 victory.

This will be a tough game, they beat us quite readily at our place and as I remember were a big solid bunch. Perhaps though not dissimilar to Folkestone and we managed to turn that result around from the first meeting.

 

Our next four games are against Walton, Staines, Heybridge and Worthing. They will probably shape the rest of the season. The good news is we are looking up and playing well.

 

I think a draw would be a decent result on Saturday but I wouldnt moan if we nicked all three ;~)

This will be a toughie and any escape from defeat will be good. However, over the last couple of games we have seen a great team effort so a win is certainly capable of achieving.

 

As for travel Tom - Will probably catch 10.51 out of Ricay to Stratford. Jubilee line to Waters-loo.

Catch 12.12 to Walton On Thames for a 12.37 arrival. Leave the station from the main entrance on the London bound side and turn immediately right. Continue on to the traffic lights and then turn left. Stompound Lane is then 5 mins walk.

This game is a measure of how far we have come since Matt took over. I think it will be tough match but they way the team is performing, I wouldn't think a win is beyond us.

Hey, it's a day of big statements...

 

Actually, when I read it back I went "hmmmmmm......, that is a big statement".

 

But...

 

Okay, maybe not a measure of how far we have come in two weeks but over the past two games, the team has performed, in my opinion, up to their potential...I don't really think we have nowt to worry about at Walton. The wrose I think we'll get is a draw but I think we'll win it. Saying that, whatever happens, I'm going to enjoy the game and give my support as I all ways do.
