Hi Gazza.

 

One of the many things that I can't do is put a hand thing linky thing on message boards. At advanced HLMT classes have learned to 'cut and paste', however, and you might be interested to see the following message that I have left on the Walton & Hersham message board:

 

"Greetings and good wishes to you Swans from a Saintsfan in Hertfordshire.

 

I occasionally contribute to the various message boards on 'Fans Forum' where a prolific poster is 'Iron Webbo', and it is common knowledge that he is Lee Harding, the Chairman of Braintree Town FC.

 

I cannot conceive why this matter might be of interest to him, but for reasons of his own, no doubt, Mr Harding made postings yesterday on two other clubs' boards - Billericay Town and St Albans City - stating that St Albans City FC had made an illegal approach that has led to the signing Mark Nwokeji. Mr Harding indicated that the matter is under investigation by the F.A.

 

If this matter has, indeed, been brought to the attention of the F.A. by your club, then we Saintsfans must await the outcome, and accept the findings of the relevant committee and no more should be said in the meanwhile.

 

If the Authorities are not involved, however, then it would be good to hear from you guys that Mr Harding is in error.

Hmmnnn. It would seem that Iron Webbo wasn't absolutely, entirely, totally and irrefutably accurate in his summary on this occasion, then.

 

Fortunately, no harm was done, and no mischief inadvertently or accidentally caused, it would appear. I see that the Essex cup draw has been announced on the Braintree site. No need to check that 'information', I wouldn't have thought.

 

Always pleased to assist.

yes it would indeed appear that said Mr Harding has made an error in regards to this matter. Strange really as Mr Harding appears to be an authority on these important issues, indeed I noticed that it was widely reported that he had very quickly brought another matter regarding a goalkeeper to the FA's attention. However, no harm done I am sure and I shall continue to rely on Mr Hardings normally informative reports.

 

Whilst visiting this forum I must congratulate the 'Ricay' on three excellent results since the management change and hope that it continues.
