the slough observer today says that a number of football league clubs have watched Gareth Mcleary but "no offical approach" has been made.

 

i think he will leave but denton should hold out for a proce that suits us. he could be a bargain for a league club. how much do you think we could get for him?

I doubt he will have committed to a contract with us, so in theory yes, there would be nothing to stand in his way to leave the club for nothing. The club could potentially forge some links with the approaching clubs though, so it might not be all bad.

Could anybody tell me what pro clubs are watching him? Personally I think he could make the step up.

Its all rumours, but one of our neighbours who will be in the premier league next season.... Gareth is class but i think that would be a huuuge step for him and he would find himself in the ressies, but it is rumours after all..

I read somewhere that we have him on contract till end of season, think it may be in the wimbledon programme.

On talking to various club officials at the weekend, I was told that he is not currently on contract, but they are trying very hard to get him on one.

If Beckford is still with Wealdstone on Saturday then there will be loads of scouts coming to watch the match.
