Directions:

 

By car:

M11 to Junction 8 (Bishop's Stortford). Turn off at junction 8 and at the first roundabout take the A120 and head west. At the next roundabout head north along the B1383 (Stansted Road) and follow into Stansted. Once in the town itself look out on the left for Hargrave Park and the ground.

Stansted. get a plane from city Airport to Stansted and you can walk or there is a good taxi service, alternatively we may run a coach.

B'side get the Meccano (District) Line to Monument, walk thru to Bank and Central Line to Barkingside, the ground is outa station do a right, 139 steps to the bridge and then another right there you might see the A127 if you do you've gone too far!

do you know how much of a walk that is from monument to bank? it feels like ur going to end up walking to wherever you want to go. Your best bet is to get the district to mile end and change there, then get the central to barkingside.

Yeh but UH bit of a walk over the platforms at mie end as well, if you go to Monument you can take a taxi to the Bank, or go on a mini pub crawl instead, I knows the area quite well!
