Hilarious considering 98% of the country and our press totally canned him when he was included in the squad! Although not me I hasten to add. You don't play regularly for Bayern Munich if you're pony. Coming into the tournament I think only 7 or so of his 31 caps had been starts. Play him in his right position and knew he would do well. He was the fittest player on the park Saturday.

 

Low and behold, the press and the whole country are now praising him to death. That's the problem with our media, they're scum and part of the reason why our team fail.

The thing with Lampard, in my opinion, is yes he didn't have a great tournament. However, it's no fluke that he had the most attempts at goal, if a couple of his chances go in then he's an absolute hero. That's the fine line between victory and defeat.

 

If he had been dropped then who comes in for him? Beckham inside then Lennon on the right? My view is that at least Lampard is getting in those positions, most others probably wouldn't have.

 

Oh and another thing - yes Sven got a healthy sum to manage England, however the FA didn't HAVE to pay him that. The Press were always trying to stitch him up as well. Ok i would've done some things different to him but then most people wouldn't have agreed with all the things i might have done - that's football.

 

If EVERYONE had got behind the whole England team, management etc then we would have had a far better chance of winning the thing.

depends where you saw it,if it was around the chilterns,ie oxfordshire/berkshire then they are seen all the time,same as wales and parts of northants/leics

Sorry El Gaffer Lampard is no good. All he wants to do is play for Chelsea. He will score in Chelseas first game. Play 4-4-2 with Hargreaves and Gerrard in the middle. That will free Gerrard up to do what he does best.

 

You are spot on about the country getting behind the team though. Unfortunately too many of them read our Tabloids and take notice of what they say.

sorry it was spotted in Wash Common in Berkshire while playing cricket. I had no idea what it was but the home players all referred to it as "our" Red Kite.

Lampard has only had most shots because he does look to shoot as soon as he receives the ball, no matter what is the best option. Stevie G is a better player in there with someone like Hargreaves or carrick.
