Rhodes Posted July 27, 2006 Share Posted July 27, 2006 I beg to differ that Broxbourne Borough will be in the running for the championship, top six or seven perhaps but the likes of Edgware, Hertford, Harefield and Aylesbury will be too strong as well as one or two unknown quantities we don't know about yet. Don't get me wrong as I would like to see Broxbourne do well, they're a forward thinking Club with good people onboard and a bit of money behind them now hence the recent ground improvements, the new 'boardroom' over looking the pitch is impressive. BBFC11 Posted July 27, 2006 Share Posted July 27, 2006 When you go through the team we have some great individuals, we now have a quality GK in Glen Williamson. ross Edwards will win every header and with are new signing Rak Dhall they will be a great partnership. in centre mid james Osbourne i dont think there is a better ball player in the league. fingers crossed Scott Neilson signs and we would have the best c.mid in the league. obviously myself on the right. and emile akin who will cause any defence trouble.... All good players you mentioned but reliable and consistent? I think not. You know yourself that your Bro blows hot and cold depending on what sort of Friday night he had. ONE Posted July 27, 2006 Share Posted July 27, 2006 BBB....wot have i told you before about shouting your mouth off....there's only one way you can go now with wot you have said !....I agree with NF's comments plus i havent heard of any of those other players you have mentioned !...apart from emile who is a good player....as for WW...it could be a good move for you mate...after fininshing last season strongly you need to keep improving and playing week in week out....the facilities over there are second to none in this league ! ONE Posted July 27, 2006 Share Posted July 27, 2006 the key for us will be to get off to a good start...we are very strong in some areas and need to strengthen in others...first pre season game on saturday so will be interesting to see how it goes...although we've just had 5 players go off on holiday for 2 weeks ! always tough against your lot....your more than welcome to come stand behind my goal....although i reckon you'll be hard pressed to out do what im going to get from gavin later in the season !
