decent websites

Who knows any decent websites for finding out information on gravesend & northfleet because the www.gnfc.co.uk website is absolutely [****!!****] and doesnt get updated often enough.

I don't particularly enjoy criticizing the club, but I agree, the web site is an absolute disgrace. I have, for a long time advocated improving the web site. If we want to make the transition into a fully professional club we have to ensure this includes the complete infrastructure of the club. Teams from lower divisions than us have better web sites informing their supporters of upcoming events at the club. Where is the list of the new 2006/2007 squad, where is the list of sponsored players, where can we sponsor a players, a two line news item saying we can just doesn't do the job. Where is the news about Stacey Long joining the club, his profile is already included elsewhere on this very website. The fleet trust have to us this forum to attempt to bring money into the club and to continue with their good work. The web site might seem like a waste of time to some but it is the most visible access to our club for supporters of other clubs and at the moment, it doesn't reach to parts it should.

If you think you can do better,fleet 4 life,why not start a better website. I don't always agree with the official website(or David Holden), but i don't criticise because i am not prepared to give up my free time to run a site myself!
