Simply the E's

'Simply the E's - A History of Enfield Football Club' has just hit the shelves of Waterstones in Town. Initially it looks like a fairly good read but it mysteriously ends with sketchy details of the 2002/03 season. Another critisism is that the author hardly makes any mention of Enfield Town FC as if the club never existed. He certainly doesn't make any reference to his own feelings about the breakaway.

It's definatly worth picking up a copy - I'm sure it will be of interest to fans who were at Southbury Road and new Town fans like me. Alan Diment also states that profits from the book will be passed onto Haven House Hospice.

Was that in his usual 'friendly' way? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
