Well done Danny.

In response to the confusion over which award is which, I'm pretty sure the award given to Danny on Tuesday was the September award, as the November awards consider all games in November (obvious I know!), so surely the award could not have been given early in case any other players had scored more than Danny after Tuesday's games.

MFC Forever - you should have listened to Wellsie's announcement on Tuesday. The award presented prior to the Staines game was for Ryman Premier top scorer for September. It should have been awarded to him before the Bromley game, but Goldberg was too busy posing with his Manager of the Month award for October & the Ref wanted to start the match.

No doubt Danny will be presented his top scorer award for November sometime early next year (knowing the jinx these awards carry it should be picked up at Southwood before a Rams game we're not involved in (let's hope they benefit from the bad luck).

I see that Staines got the award for team performance of the month - I presume that was for the result against us...?

Personally, I thought we should have taken it - beating (up to that point) unbeaten Bromley 3-1 on their own turf to knock them off of top spot - what more could we have done!?

Agree with you MH. Beating the then unbeaten league leaders is more of an achievement than beating the three times beaten league leaders when the two games are just a week apart in the middle of a season. Anybody watching both games and making a judgement after viewing would have agreed with us I'm sure. The Ryman officials must just look at results and see that Staines scored one more than we did at Bromley.
