More Problems for Farnborough

As Alan said earlier, Farnborough have been hit with a transfer embargo as they have failed to pay Jim Rodwell the back pay due to him following his tribunial victory over his second scking from the club.

 

Confguide reports that Farnborough now have only 18 players not including Rodwell, and they are now unable to replace the seven players who have had their contracts cancelled as "valueless" and somehow immediately turned up at Stevenage.

 

And just to add insult to injury, after two weeks there has still been no announcement that Graham Westley has disposed of his shares in the club.

 

They always say that in the last 10 weeks of the seaoson one club goes into freefall and joins the relegation battle. This year it looks like being Farnborough.

I don't whether it's true or a touch of libel, but according to The Cardsweb Forum Phil Wallace (Stevenage Chairman) was on the panel that placed the embargo on Farnborough.

 

If that is true then it is an absolute disgrace.
