I'll see you tonight SMF. I'll be the one being treated for severly split sides after we give you a thrashing. You have to learn your limitations, and you will get well and truly beaten!

Can you beleive it?

Some of those that went to Southend Manor actually managed to see two games in one night!!

Well done to the 'First XI' 5-0 against Manor, (Berquez (3), Brayley & Boylan the scorers) Hard luck Manor, you put in more of an effort the Enfield and deserved to score at least two goals on the night.

Unlucky the Reserves loosing on penalties is a tough business, you put up a good fight of what I saw against two thirds of their first team.

Merv I believe is doing the highlights for the Manor game for those that didn't go.

Team -
1. Potter
2. Graham
3. Dobinson
4. Chenery -Cpt-
5. Bennett
6. Davidson
7. Protheroe
8. Minton
9. Berquez
10. Brayley
11. Parmenter

SUBS:
12. Boylan
14. Duffy
15. Kennedy
16. N. Gregory
17. Harrison

I must admit Canvey was quality last night.

The difference in level def showed.
Marking Boylan when he come on was a nightmare.
The fella is so lively.
Not happy with Parmenter though spitting at one of our players late on and Minton just kicking out at one of our players for being mugged off.

Plus i swear i saw the ref in the Canvey changing room after getting their autographs.
He was up their arses for most of the game!

Our man Johnny Curtis was unlucky with that effort that hit the post, what a strike from the fella!

Curtis's shot was very unlucky as was the shot that was cleared of the line by your own player!

The class and fitness showed through last night I think, although you did battle hard you seemed a step behind 99% of the time.

What number was you playing then 'Mick'? I was talking to Flanders, (or was it you?) before the game, had a few 'nice' words to say about Michael Lee. I just laughed, Flanders - Southend Manor, Lee - Canvey Island, I think that statement just proves it all.

Probably one of the bigger crowds you've seen all season wasn't it?

The shot that hit the bar in the second half was quality, and Southend Manor opened us up on more than one occasion. However, it didn't seem as if we ever came out of first gear, or at times just stayed in neutral! I did feel sorry for that lino in the second half though, hopping on one leg trying to keep in line with Boylan!!! He was getting so much stick I bet he couldn't wait for the whistle to blow!

I'm just glad I wasn't stuck in Southchurch Park all night like I feared when the gate I came in on my bike was locked after the game!

I wasn't sporting a Notepad!! and I was wearing a hat too so you wouldn't be able to spot the colour of my hair.

Still Michael Lee is at Canvey making first team appearancees which is a lot more than Flanders could say. Even if they were together at Wakering!!

...and by the looks of your name you're a Wa*kering fan? Why are you even concerned about Southend Manor? You've got bigger fish to fry in the Ryman!!

Or are you indeed Flanders himself and bitter about moving down the Leagues when Michael goes higher?! Can't have it all your own way I'm afraid and Tuesday night you didn't! Still next season you might actually put in a Championship Challenge and finish behind Enfield Town again!!

Would love to actually see you play football instead of walking round in your nerdy Canvey cap!

How about I try and get an education?! Obviously it skipped a few years in Southend, as considering I go to College there I would probably say I'm right.

Yeah leave Matt alone. He's a quality bloke and where would we be without his excellent player ratings, match reports(when Merv is away) and his tips on Champ Manager.

Keep up the good work and don't let the imbeciles get you down!!
