Midweek Fixtures - 19th/20th/21st February

Recommended Posts

Two of the back four from Saturday missing Jukub (bad back) and Joe Donaldson (work) so one of the young lads from ressies gets a chance just a shame can't keep the same side out.

@WinslowUtdFC: Just witnessed one of the finest goals I have seen at any level. Diagonal ball from deep delivered by Matt Brady and a 1st time sublime left foot volley 12-15 yards out tight angle across the keeper into far corner. Just pure class @ClaudeSeanla #unbelievable

First half we were quite good, went a goal down and that was it. Second goal went in and we lost the plot. I got another yellow card, 3 in 4 games although this was for a "foul". Not quite sure how I deserved it, turning and running after the ball and their player runs into me. Even the Biggleswade officials at the game were bemused

Cranfield United 1 Hoddesdon Town 0. A deserved victory last night for us against a Hoddesdon side who are having yet another consistent season.Neither sides made lots of chances Hoddesdon hit the post and had a free header from a corner similar to us really. The referee booked 4 players from each side( 2 of my lads were definate yellows)thats 8 eight we had him earlier in the season and booked 7 yes seven of my lads.A tight and very even game but I can't wait to read the Hoddesdon match report as its always a good read and so one sided. No doubt it will have the phrase Hoddesdon had no luck lol and should have had penalties.Good luck to roger and Hoddesdon for the rest of the season but I'm afraid it looks like another season in division one next year.A special mention must go to Jonno who left the away dressing room immaculate thanks mate top man.And the assistant manager I think ,who made my night when taking a match ball and clearly with his fittest days behind him tried to run off with it to there dugout he looked like he needed first aid after the 20 yard waddle.cheers baldy.

Must say bearman your such a dick. Why can't you just take the win and be happy with it be glad your lads beat a good side? Why come on here and have a pop at people. All you do is make people see you are a dick and a mouthy one at that. Good mangers take a win and say nothing about it. You don't see other gaffers on here giving like you do it's not even like your near the top of the league is it.

Take the win keep your mouth closed and let people say good things about your players rather then think I hope his team get smashed. As for the hoddy ast manager top bloke lovely man do anything for anyone. So don't knock the bloke when you no nothing about him. No I'm n

Lol another person with massive Internet balls anyone know who he is ! Get a sense of humour,as for the Hoddesdon website it's a well known fact that its match reports are lets say a little biase and at times offensive the ass manager probably is a nice fella i just found it funny what he done i have done it in the past myself .No we are not near the top of the league and probably never will be with me in charge as i encourage my best players to move on to a better standard as quickly as possible as our club are nowhere near realdy to go up the divisions yet.Anyway i will continue to say what I want ,when I want ,to who I want if you really don't like it then next time your at cranfield come and have a word and I will see if I can help with your sense of humour failure until that time ( which will never be) keep trying to go up through the back door.
