Tony Battersby signs for Cambridge City !

I thought he was injured and wouldn't play again this season !

The NLP today has him down as a substitute for Cambridge City's game yesterday - although it doesn't say whether he came on or not. Either he's out for the season or he isn't!

 

The question is, did he join them from us or was he technically 'unattached'?

With only two home matches remaining this season I expect we will get a chance to vote for player of the season at the Farnborough game on Easter Monday.

Tony Battersby is right up there with Wes Daly, Billy Bones and Francis Kumbur in my book and I just don't know who will get my vote.

Slarti, I find it inconceivable that you can fail to include Scott Goodwin and Anthony Finn in that shortlist. Without these two, we'd still be languishing at the bottom.

I thought the story with Battersby was that He had his contract terminated because he was out for the rest of the season but was still training with us.
