How comes our Paralympians are second in the medal table, yet our able bodied athletes finished well down the list? If we can produce disabled athletics, why not able bodied athletes as well?

I think you'll find that it's because we are far more disabled friendly in the UK and are better at integration of the disabled in general into society. The Greeks are using the Paralympics to try and heighten awareness of disabled issues in Greece.

Saw a superb basketball match this afternoon. GB beat USA and it went right down to the last few seconds.
Normally I hate basketball but the wheelchair version was excellent. Would like to see more of it. Exciting too.
Players were knocked flying all over the place, and yet the managed to get themselves upright with no assistance! The game was played at fast speed and the level of maneouvrability by players was fantastic.
Well done Team GB. Showed those yanks how to play the game! <img src="/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif" alt="" />

No it was in the semis. We lost but beat the Netherlands to claim the bronze.
