To save me trawling through countless web pages, would anyone happen to know where I'd need to enquire about rail travel for that weekend? I have a very low threshold for boredom, you see! Any info would be gratefully received.

I'm at busy at work you know!

Personally I would use www.nationalrail.co.uk but I'm sure the other one will suffice.

It's just that this takes you straight to the correct website - whereas that other address means you have to click on a link to end up at the same place!

Possibly an overnight stay, which would depend on whether it was budgeted for at the start of the season or not?

If you mean with the players & staff.....

.....I would suspect that the answer would be 'no'.

It will depend on how many people wish to go by coach.

If there is not enough people to cover the cost then any plans would be scrapped.

Personally will be going by train and overnight stay.

But surely we can get a coachload to what is probably the best and biggest club to play in the conference.
But suppose it will come down to where we are in the league at that stage.

A friend of mine seems to recall that at the Northwich game earlier this season, it was announced that the club/trust would look into possibly flying up? Did anyone else hear the same or was the message lost in translation when it came through the tannoy?

I think you misheard, I think it was that the trust were planning to take over the catering at the Fleet, and were going to organise a fry up...

Some people are flying up. Any coach that runs will be dependant upon it being full, as some of the regulars on the coach are flying up I wouldn't bank on it going. To be honest that length of time on a coach will be painful. Most people who travel away that I have spoken to are training or planeing it.

I heard it. I didn't say anything as I thought I misheard the guy but now I've got other people saying the same thing it proves I'm not going mad and I can finally leave this mental institute. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/chloenurse.gif" alt="" />

If anyone from the club is listening, Jessica Vice chair of the Fleet Trust I know your out there, I would definately be intereested. So much so that I even mispelt definately (I Think). But I suppose (whoever it was) was right it all depends on how much interest we get and that all depends on hwo we are doing at that stage of the season.
