I voted rock. I'm the Pink Floyd, KISS, Queensryche, Rammstein etc (too many to name) type of person. I love 70's and 80's rock mostly, but quite a bit from the 90's and now.

Rather like AFF#1, most of my listenables are defunct !

Some of the truly indie stuff I like keeps on going however - as it never relied on chart success, it's just kept on rolling in the background !

Dead Can Dance, Cocteau Twins, Bauhaus, Shriekback, Echo & the Bunnymen, This Mortal Coil - are probably the more commercial end of my taste !

I tend to jump around with my taste. Last night for example I listen to The Cult (rock) before playing five a side, and then Dilated Peoples when I got home (hip-hop). I'm into guitar based music at heart but don't like to be stuck in a single genre.
