I see that the CIFC site has announced that Lee Jay has joined Great Wakering Rovers on loan.

Hope he gets some good experience there and can come back and stake a claim for a first team spot - I really like the look of him and think he is a youngster of immense promise.

Excellent. Good news indeed. I remember when he came on as sub in the game v Dagenham & Redbridge in the ESC this season and absolutely lit the game up the 2nd half and I thought then he looked a really good prospect. Had hoped by now he might have made his debut in the Conference after being on the bench a couple of times but perhaps the management do not think he is ready just yet.

Hope his time at GWR continues to be a success and look forward hopefully to seeing Lee Jay back in a Canvey shirt really soon.

Player with great talent and should do well at GWR.
