Steve and Lee are very similar players and it's been interesting for me to note that over the course of the season, for me personally Steve has overtaken Lee in the pecking order for the left wing, (I think Lee performs better on the right anyway). Hopefully there is improvement to come from Lee while he is a Canvey player and like you say with good coaching, in time he could be a good player.

Fair enough comment mate.

Not much football played today in Ryman North but our friends from Wingate & Finchley did us a favour and bounced back with a 2-1 away win at play off hopefuls AFC Sudbury.

That uses up one of their games in hand.......

That's done us a great favour. Well done Wingate.

Did you all have to pay to get in or could you use the "re-entry" tickets from last time.

I was at the Emirates, but suspect I would have seen a better game at the Lane.

The tickets were not valid as the original game was into the second half so we all had to pay again.

Worth it though........
