It hasn't gone unnoticed that this is your second attempt at this foolhardy action.

I would assume your efforts to gain signatures on Saturday didn't prove as fruitful as you might have hoped, I noticed a piece of paper being passed around, but it didn't look like much of a petition to me.... grin

I think this type of behavior is totally outrageous and completely undermines the board and it's authority.... grin

This kind of fan power is becoming far to prevalent in todays non-league society, what next, fans owning clubs and picking the team.

you're wasting your time BB, no one will be interested in your petition to bring rancid apple flavored water to this neck of the woods. tongue

TC (lol) I thought you would be one of the first to sign up?

So much for fan power eh..

That piece of paper started life as A4 (just can't get the bar staff)

While obviously not wishing to undermine the authority of the board, it might be of interest to the management that a keg of cider does last for ages in one's cellar.

That said, it'll never catch on though wink

Warning from an Angel angel

Santa’s elves got sick, the trainee elves did not produce

toys as fast as the regular ones, and Santa began to feel the

pre-Christmas pressure. Then Mrs Claus told Santa her Mother was coming

to visit, which stressed Santa even more.

When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were

about to give birth and two others had jumped the fence and were out,

Heaven knows where. Then, when he began to load the sleigh, one of the

floorboards cracked, the toy bag fell to the ground and all the toys

were scattered. So, frustrated, Santa went in the house for a cup of

apple cider and a shot of rum.

When he went to the cupboard, he discovered the elves had drank all the

cider and hidden the liquor. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped

the cider jug, and it broke into hundreds of little glass pieces all

over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found the mice had

eaten all the straw off the end of it.

Just then the doorbell rang, so an irritated Santa marched to the door,

yanked it open, and there stood a little angel with a great big

Christmas tree. The angel said very cheerfully, “Merry Christmas,

Santa. Isn’t this a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where

would you like me to stick it?”

And so began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree.

To be fair to BB the petition was the size of a postage stamp (it was all Mick would allow) and only 4 managed to squeeze their names onto it. Having said that a notable scalp was obtained in Mrs TC! Surely one Mrs TC is worth hundreds of normal signatures?

BB, I would love to but I do understand what it takes to keep the stuff (because of it's natural goodness) and do we have enough people that will drink it?

The answer to the last bit of the question is no. Would be nice if we could obtain some bottled real ale...Badgers English Gold would do me. A bouquet of cut grass and a refreshing after taste, I would gratefully sink more than a couple of those and have Mrs. C drive.

Yes, I drink Magners but only 'cos it comes in a nice big bottle and as I don't drink that much, it lasts me all afternoon (or evening).

As for this poll, the less cider there is in the world... smile
