One better than Saturday

The Town beat St Albans 7-1 tonight in a central league game.

However I understand that St Albans played only one player who had had first team experience this season compared to all of ours. They virtually had a youth team out.

Team as far as I can identify

Charlie Hasler - the one goal was his mistake from a corner. Seems he had been taking lessons from the goalie on Saturday. But fairs fair he had a reasonable game.

Back 4 - Nay (played very well)

Gant - had extensive treatment in second half so may still be carrying an injury.

Tickner - Captain and performed the role well.

Harvey - worked well linking with Bastian.

Midfield

Mitchell - Looked a bit lost at times but scored a penalty. And did take some good free kicks.

Campbell - in and out of the game but scored another quality goal. At least I think it was him.

Bastian - Made at least 2 goals with his crosses and determination.

Magona - his best position in front of the back four

Foster - Hm full of running but the partnership with Ricci does not seem to develop

Crace - scored 4 goals and was through before fouled for the penalty.

A player came on for Mitchell in the second half and scored with his first touch I could not identify him - is West black? May have been Nyamah but dont think so. I am sure that others will tell us who he was.

St Albans were outclassed but you can only beat the team you are up against. As it is we could have lost and that would have been a disaster the win should boost one or two players' confidence and 4 goals should set Ricci up for Saturday.
