Secretive suggestions from the board suggest that the Chairman is currently talking to about 12 management hopefuls. It is hoped that they might be in a position to make a selection next week sometime.

 

Please don't name suggested candidates names on here but lets all watch for white smoke from the papal enclave!

 

They appear to be doing all the right things - Hope the chosen one can handle the press too!

I'm getting slightly confused.

 

I thought we were appointing a temporary manager until the end of the season and then appointing a permanent mamager for the 2008-9 season.

 

Its my understanding that the board havn't even made there mind up between Margolis and Smee as to who who take overall temporary charge for the remainder of this season,now we hear that the board will interview and appoint a permanent mamager within the next week or so.

 

Or am i misreading things??

It is what was being shared on a face to face basis by Board members on Saturday. But who knows they may reflect on what they have discovered and think again! It is a fluid time I think1

And PS..If your mate is old and had a farm,he is definitely not a shoe in.On the other hand,if he's got one ball,he could well be the shoe-in you think he is.
