I'd say until you come to the Copthall Stadium, ie. about 4.50pm on Saturday 5 April.

I was there and quite frankly destroyed is definately the right word. They were made to look very ordinary at the back. Lets face it we always tailor our own match reports to read better than it actually is. The truth is both goals were against the run of play. Also the words in the first line heavy defeat says it all!

Surely the surprise result of the night, the 'semi rural setting' comment got me though. Do we know if Mick Ewen was there and if anyone asked him about Petethegreek:

Cockfosters 2 London Colney 2

Just when I thought I was running out of grounds in London to visit I remembered this place.

Friendly club in a semi-rural setting, decent programme, real ale in the club house and 2 minutes back to the tube station if you use the gate onto the main road. The ground is not quite fully enclosed and the facilities are basic but well worth a visit and I imagine it's rather photogenic on a Saturday afternoon.

London Colney picked up only their 8th point of the season on the night that they conceded their 100th & 101st goals of the campaign. Cockfosters were 2-0 up at half-time but the visitors came back in the second-half and although they were never the better team they did have lots of possession and certainly deserved the point.

Nice one Rhodes. In providing a link to Tring's website while, as always, ignoring ours, you have actually directed people to MY report, as Tring nicked it!

Horace - Why don't you just post your match reports on the Forum as a matter of course as soon as you finish them on a Saturday night

Wader - Yes but Horace could provide a link to the Hertford Town Web page where the report was contained, it's the same thing

Why? No-one else posts these links - it's only you who trawls around looking for links. And you make a special point of not linking to our site, although you never miss Leverstock Green.
