Middx cup final clash with Chamions league semi

Remember our Cherry Red final against the mighty Pistone & Ivanhoe. Attracted a saturday crowd of 600+.

My point i was trying to make was if that cup final would have been sheduled to be played midweek on an industrial estate in deepest Hayes, AND clashed with a massive Champions league Semi.The crowd would have been more like 200 than 600.As will happen for the Middx final.

It doesn't help that Enfield is on the far eastern boundary of Middlesex and most Middlesex clubs are towards West London.

You could always enter the Essex Senior Cup, like you did the league.

Soapy, we've never entered that particular competition you numpty!!! We did however, win the Essex Senior League Cup on two occassions or I recall!
