Laz
It's been suggested that they have fallen short on the number of turnstyles. If that is true, then how are the reasons they state in that article relevant? Kick them out!
JKiF
What I dont understand is how everyone knows the rules regarding ground requirements then crys wolf when they fail. Fairly certain our esteemed chairman would rather have spent the money on players than getting the ground up to scratch. ps. the rules are crap BUT it's the same for everyone
Laz
To be fair to our chairman, he's both paid for players AND got the ground in order. The rules are crap but 21 clubs have adhered to them. Cambridge City haven't and must have known about it.
YELLOW
I think clubs in the Conf National/South and North were told about 4 years back (around the time the leagues were reorganised) that they had to get their grounds up to certain requirements by the end of the 2007/08 season. OK, Cambridge City have had their fair share of financial problems but so have other clubs and they've still got their grounds done in time They were certainly given plenty of notice of what work was needed. (nearly 4 years) The rulings seem rather unfair but are there for a reason and if not adhered to then they need to be demoted.
Hatboy
I've got time for Gary Roberts but we all know the way the grading goes and have to work within those parimeters. Do you reckon if Cambridge did get relegated that Gibbo would have Roberts back
JKiF
spot on yellow and yes Laz, kudos to the chairman for doing both!
Laz
Hatters, there is more chance of Yellow getting a girlfriend than Gibbo employing Robbo again. Gibbo is enamoured with Steve Castle and I don't think he'll employ anyone else. Yellow, I thought you were dead?
YELLOW
Invisible maybe but not dead. So are Saints staying up this season? Was kind of hoping of playing you in the Ryman Premier next season.

YELLOW
Would be nice if we were all in the same division a la 2003/04 but think that's unlikely. Reckon you and the boys from Upminster could be lining up in Conference South next season.
