Urchins record equalled

We all know that Hornchurch was the first club to play two matches in one day.

Well yesterday this record was equalled, when Frenford Senior played Canning Town in the East Ham Mem Trophy and also played Faces FC in a league match - both at home. As they only have one pitch I am not too sure how they managed it.

I know that in the Isthmian Lge a few seasons ago, one of the clubs was scheduled to play three matches on the final day of the season, but cannot remember who it was - I know they were due to play at Sutton Utd in the first match, and this was called off as the stewards refused to turn out for the very early kick off, and one of the other two matches was also called off due to heavy rain, but can't remember who it was.

Hendon played one match but didn't have to play the other games as they didn't affect promotion or relegation.
