Pathetic parents

No this is not a story about 13 year old fathers, but about real adults who should know better.

My mates son plays for a under 12's side in a league in the Milton Keynes area. A couple of weeks back they played a home game where their defender in trying to block an opposition shot on the line got carried over the line with the ball. The ball bounced back into play off the lad and the keeper picked it up and carried on. Both the Ref and the Lino (who was one of the Dads of the defending team)did not pick up that the ball had crossed the line. According to my mate it was very difficult to tell anyway in real time.

At the end of the game there was a bit of a row about the incident and one of the away teams parents produced a video of the incident, as he had been recording it at the time on his phone. It shows that ball has gone over the line. However if it could not help Pedro Mendes its hardly going to stand up in a kids game.

You would think grown up parents shouls be setting an example to the kids and just accepting it as one of those things. No chance, the bloke with the phone only goes and down loads it on Youtube and makes a big issue of it. What message does that give out to kids.

Thankfully the Manager of the away team saw sense and got it removed from You tube and phoned the home team manager to apologise over the incident.

I think off the record the bottom line was that questions were asked as to why he was videoing the game anyway without the permission of both sets of parents?????

its the exact reason why English players are falling behind in terms of youth set up, its to completive at there age it should only be about developing there skills, not about the result, iv seen much worse at under 9s game, with parents screaming at there kids to smash the other player, to be fair its the parents who are to blame, its something the fa have to look at because im telling you in 10, 20 years time England will be picking players from the championship because English players will not be good enough for the premiership.

What the f*ck has this got to do with the ESL Boroman?

First Jenko spouting off about Ice Skating, and now this?

This forum is getting beyond a joke, with joke threads like this.

How will the future England team suffer from some pratt who filmed a childs football game, and posted a clip on you-tube to prove he was right.

Every day you see contentious decisions, like the Pedro Mendes goal that wasn't, played on repeat on Sky Sports News, etc, but it doesnt change the result!

Once the referee has given a decision, thats it. Its his job to make that decision. Unfortunately they do get some of them wrong, and we crucify them for doing so. They are not cheating, and just trying to do their job properly.

More importantly thought, what does this have to do with the future England team? Fck all, instead its about Boroman's mates son, who plays in some kwango under 12 league in Milton Keynes.

Who cares. Tell your snore stories down the local OAP home, or window licking club with the other Romford supporters! grin
