Our pre-season friendlies are also now finalised, the final list is:

 

16 July - MV SCR (H) 7.45pm

18 July - Merstham (H) 3.00pm

21 July - Leatherhead (H) 7.45pm Advertiser Trophy

25 July - Sheerwater (H) 3.00pm

28 July - Farleigh (A) 7.00pm

01 Aug - South Park (H) 3.00pm

04 Aug - Broadbridge Heath (A) 7.30pm

For those of you who may be coming to DFC's friendlies:-

 

Change of venue.

 

I understand that the first two friendlies, (Home),

 

16 July - MV SCR (H) 7.45pm

18 July - Merstham (H) 3.00pm

 

will be played at Dorking Rugby ground, Junction Kiln Lane and Brockham Lane, Brockham. (Off the A.25 between Betchworth and Dorking).

 

This is thanks to the recent extremely hot spell which has meant that we have had to carry out more work at Meadowbank than we had hoped.

 

If anyone is coming and doesn't know where the pitch is, please feel free to PM me.

I take it that it's the big field just off the main road? Hopefully it won't be wet & windy as a little exposed there! I should be there Thursday, not sure Saturday.

Yes TRS.

 

Turn left down Brockham Lane off the A.25 from Dorking to Reigate, (By the Postillion Reataurant). Follow the road down past the pitches on your left. Take the first left, Kiln Lane, and drive along the lane for approximately 500 yards, then left into the Rugby Club Car Park.

 

Unfortunately, I probably won't be there. Jan is due into the East Surrey Hospital for an operation on that Thursday, so I may not be around for several days.

 

However, knowing how common operation cancellations are.....!
