Chairman Terry Chapman has received news today that planning application for floodlights, hard standing and a 50 seater stand at Redding Way has now been registered at Woking Borough Council Civic Offices.

 

Notices have been put up at the ground and should be available to view online on Woking Borough Council's website.

 

According to Lance Boswell of the Borough Council's Asset Management team we should know the outcome in about six weeks time and providing all goes to plan, floodlights and the hard standing should be in place by Christmas or early January.

Further additional seating is being scheduled to suit requirements for promotion to Premier Division of the Combined Counties League should the team finish in the promotional places.

Well with that news and all the money a rival manager says they are paying perhaps they are early season favourites for Div 1

 

I reckon Div 1 will see another exciting season.
