Went to Sandhurst and the pitch was excellent and never got anywhere near getting called off.

 

Understand that your foot sunk into the Farnborough pitch and would have been impossible to play on.

I was reading the ECB website today and Strauss blamed the defeat on poor fielding, nothing to do with the poor shot selection we made when batting!

Sorry I took so long to reply TRS I have been out (dare I say it....Cricketing)

 

Thanks for the good luck - but we dont need it as we have a master plan....winning the toss and 'Big Sus' having a shot from the kick catching the keeper off guard and then we are going to dog it out with all 10 on the 18yd line for 89mins

 

I ended up at EP as I moved from London to just outside Portsmouth (with the job) and Big Sus got the call from EP (as he's played Sussex for a few years now) and the rest they say is history. Its only about 30mins journey (when no traffic on the A27)
