Good win for Camberley considering we had four of our regular starters out. Wes Kendrick put Camberley two up inside the first 20 minutes and Jamie Hoppitt added a third before the break. Darren Barnard scored from the spot on 65 minutes after Sandhurst had their keeper sent off. Camberley then seemed to struggle against Sandhursts ten men and Sandhurst pulled a goal back through James Mepham. Both sides finished with ten men after Camberley had Jason Short sent off inside the final ten minutes

We had to lose a league game sometime, just a shame it was in the manner we did. Cambo created 3 clear cut chances in the frist half and took them all. Defensivly two of the three were errors that another game would not have been made.

Changed formation for the second half to have a go. 3-0 down and nothing to lose and played better football finally making Justin Gray do some work. Definate penalty followed by madness from our keeper with a well taken penalty from Barnard. Barnard claimed the assist for our consolation goal when he played a short backpass.

There were two dismissals and I lost count how many cautions, but it was not that type of game. One or two strange decisions by the referee and certainly the assistant on the stand side (don't think his contacts are as strong as his glasses), but it added to the derby flavour and gave more to talk about afterwards.

Cambo deserved the win and we try and put things right on Saturday.

Banstead A 0 Dorking 0.

A game of two halves ended in stalemate as Dorking and Banstead Athletic fought out a goalless draw on Tuesday night at Merland Rise. The draw leaves Dorking in the bottom three, although well in touch with the clubs above them, but the score lmeans it is only 1 defeat in 5 league games for Chicks, although that first league win still somehow eludes Tony Webb's team

Dorking welcomed back Joe Loyza and Paul West from suspension, but started slowly and Banstead certainly had the better of the first half without managing to breach Dan Coote's goal.

It was a different story in the second half as Dorking came back into the game strongly, and Webb will feel Chicks could well have snatched all three points. Phil Page, Dan Clayton and Loyza all went close, but a Banstead team, boasting a fair number of new faces compared to the team that had started the season held on for a draw which fairly reflected the overall game

Dorking have two more away games in the next week, away at Hanworth Villa on Saturday and away at Horley on Tuesday 13 October.
