pop up's..russian hookers and bloody diet plans...

Is someone trying to wind me up or does this happen to everyone....

 

first I get bombarded with pop ups of russian tarts on me screen.....

 

infuriating...anyway after several days reviewing this ghastly and sexist practice....I had the PC attended to and stopped it.....

 

next came the free holiday sh*te...including me special bonus of a grand spending money....took no notice at all as a grand wouldn't last the urchinette two minutes....and flying to Clacton bears little attraction for me...

 

got rid of that one as well.....

 

this week its diet plans.....

 

lemon diets...water diets....strawberry diets...melon diets...soup diets....indian take away diets and climb mount bloody kilamanjaro diets.....

 

whats next...I can't stand it anymore.... <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I have no problems with pop-ups. The only thing Satan (my computer) does is not recognise when I have read a post. He does this every few days, but I now know how to sort it so I have been able to resist the urge to throw him out the window.

I don't get Pop-Ups here i get a load of rubbish e-mails offering me Viagra and online psychotherapy!

'Er Indoors' thinks that's a great laugh, and is considering offering me to 'pop-up' myself a few times for the less well endowed !

If you're having problems with pop-ups that aren't linked to a website you're looking at then you may have been invaded by a "worm" type virus thingie. Time to update your virus protection! If the pop-ups are linked to websites you're viewing then stop looking at dirty pics <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

You might also consider installing a firewall, particularly if you're using an always on connection (eg broadband)

thats what is worrying...(serious now) we've got one main server for over 100 pc's and they are supposed to be firewalled...

 

they only come through on my pc's (3) and only when I am into these forums...
